He's a cancer specialist and molecular biologist turned angel investor. Years ago he worked in Berlin at Schering AG to build up their cancer program in Europe, Asia and the US. While there he began genomics research to identify novel genes that cause cancer, validating and then patenting them.

Today he's a member of the Pasadena Angels and the Tech Coast Angels. He's the angel expert on the life sciences and medical devices.
