Most Investment Banks are in New York and San Francisco, but southern California has one booming firm: Montgomery & Company in Santa Monica. Kevin's one of the founders, the Managing Director of Investment Banking and Co-head of Media Banking. We discuss some of the happy outcomes over the past few years including Yahoo's acquisition of MusicMatch, MySpace by Fox and others including an IPO for DivX.
As an angel investor I ask him, "Why don't we have more exits?" He doesn't hesitate with his reply.
