A philosophy major in college then a merger and acquisitions specialist, now Bart's the Chairman of Tech Coast Venture Network, TCVN, a 20-year old networking organization based in Orange County. TCVN's purpose is to educate the startup entrepreneur and prepare them for eventual funding. At the monthly meetings topics include: VC financing, Powerpoint presentations, Bootstrapping, building your board and many other subjects critical to the startup. I was the keynote speaker back in June.
Save the date: TCVN's Survivor 3 event is set for Thursday September 27, 2007. Add to the long list of prizes, the winner will be featured as a guest on the podcast!

I just listened to two of your podcasts (the ones with Louise Wannier and Bart Greenberg) and found them engaging and informative. Very much appreciate your down-to-earth and intelligent style, which makes the complexities of angel investing more accessible for those like me who are relative newcomers to the subject. How fortuitous to have sat next to you at the TCVN workshop on Sept. 6.
Also, I was delightfully surprised to learn about your photography book on the Dance Dept. at LaGuardia High School. The photograph on your "Dreams of Grace" Contact Us page is beautiful and reminds of dancing I've seen by the Dance Theatre of Harlem. When I used to exhibit at the Javits Center for trade shows, occasionally I would take jazz dance classes at the "Steps on Broadway" dance studio, which I found artistically invigorating because of the caliber of students.
I'm going to go through your podcast archives, and look forward to future podcasts.
