New York Angels founder David Rose
Show #139 Listen (51:59) Download
David has a knack for starting things. First, he's the founder of the New York Angels. Once they got up and running he realized they needed something to organize the members and the deals; that something became Angelsoft.
What's a Bozo filter and should every angel group use one?
How do angel groups organize all the submissions they receive each month? They must get buried.
Running an angel investing organization starts off simple, but if you're like the Tech Coast Angels with 280 members and getting 400 applications a year you have a lot to organize. When TCA began there were no options, Ken Deemer designed and built a website which has grown over the years. Angel groups starting today have an alternative in Angelsoft. Adoption of the system has been encouraging; since it's free there aren't many barriers to entry. Angelsoft's Mark LaRosa describes the system and the customer base.

Hi again Frank,
I'm responding to your comment that you never hear from your listeners - Believe me, there's many folks out there who sincerely appreciate what you do.
It was good to hear from an East Coaster on your last show even though from here (Atlanta), New York may as well be California.
You had mentioned in the past that you would be willing to offer some critique on my Executive Summary. So, I'm taking you up on your generous offer.
Your listener friend and future Internet gazillionaire,

Hi Frank,
I'm a new listener to your show and the few podcasts I listened to were not only informative but surprisingly entertaining. I was wondering if one of your future podcasts can include information on how entrepreneurs can develop their product if MONEY is not an issue. What I mean by that is where can entrepreneurs find talented and trustworthy people to help with the creation of a product. It is often frustrating for an entrepreneur who has a good idea, enough money to support the idea, but lack of information in how to physically cultivate the product.
Best Regards,
New Fan

I am a great fan of your insightful writings of your blog thefrankpetersshow.com. Its quite encouraging to listen to your shows while driving in the car and primarily I enjoy them because of their focus on entrep.-perspective and angel-investing as a medium and they also address issues at a philosophical level. I have no hesitation in saying that I would continue to listen to the Frank Peter's show as I continue driving.
