Fast Pitch LA

The Tech Coast Angels host Fast Pitch at UCLA. Twelve entrepreneurs get 60 seconds each to pitch to a panel of experts. It's not easy. Last year I was given 60 seconds to describe TCA; I wasn't halfway through when the buzzer went off and cut my mic.
This year I was asked to introduce the keynote speaker, YouMail CEO Alex Quilici, so of course I had to memorize his bio. Then on the long drive north from Orange County, I kept thinking: maybe the best way to introduce Alex would be to roast him...

We have brushed past each other at the Tech Coast Angels Fast Pitch on Monday and the Pasadena Angels Screening event today. You did a great into at the fast pitch and I have since listened to a few of your shows. It's good to put a real human face on some of this activity and you have managed to do a great job of that. You even managed to not be critical of the career limiting maneuvers in the Media Matchmaker meltdown.
As I explore this space this week I have been blogging some of my perceptions. I am curious how close I am coming to the reality of the situation and thought you might be able to offer a bit of insight when you have the time?
In any case it has been nice almost meeting you, and I am now a fan.

You were terrific last night. We are still talking about it. Several members on a Tuesday morning conf call laughed again. We did not know that you had the stand up comic gene. The good news is that Alex carried off your introduction. Nice work.

Saw you at the TCA Fast Pitch this past Monday. Enjoyed your introductory speech. Didn't realize you're such an entertaining speaker.

Learned of you through the TCA website. Great podcast!
I've already downloaded quite a few episodes. As an Internet Entrepreneur, I find a tremendous amount of value in your podcasts.
Also, great job at the Fast Pitch event this past Monday! Sure you would of made a great Keynote Speaker!
