What kind of year did the Common Angels have in '07? They funded 5 new startups and did 14 follow-on rounds. Those are big numbers! And it speaks to their ability to be included in follow-on rounds and not get overlooked when VCs ante up for the B round. How do they fight their way to the table? Hey Frank,
I was downsized from Credit Suisse and am now raising capital through my llc called High Meadow Capital.
Today I attended a venture forum in NYC put on by a group in NY at the Yale Club. I think that it may be a venue to market your show to. I recommended a lady from S&P take a look at your weekly show for opportunities on the west coast.
If you are interested, I'll forward venture information on to you from NY. I am currently working with more established companies for the most part looking to raise all the pieces of the capital structure.
My website is www.highmeadowcapital.com.

I do not know how to thank you enough for your encouragement I believe you are GOD-sent at this time of transition in my life. Your weekly podcast is a library for the serious entrepreneur, investors, VC and a university for a novice like me.

I've listened to a couple of your podcast episodes, and I always hear
about multi-million dollars investment.
I'm very new to this concept of angels and vc funding.
To be honest I'm an idea guy, and I currently have some ideas that I
would like to see go further, but these are small projects like 100k
investment.
Do you also do "small" investment, or is the whole investment term just
for the million number?
If you could also explain me what is the difference between angel and vc
function it will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,
Keep up the podcast, I'm enjoying it very much.
Sincerely,
Rafael.
