Summer Re-runs: Jim Armstrong
My best show ever? I'd like to think they get better every week, but many listeners say "this is the one". From back in December 2006, you'll have to give me credit for improved audio since then, but who am I to argue?
Jim Armstrong of Clearstone Venture Partners put the podcast on the map.
According to one listener: "The points made by Jim are priceless. This should be required listening for all angel investors. No wishy-washy nonsense here... some really great wisdom."
Show #161 (45:41)

Frank,
Here are some really fun entrepreneurs if you are on St John.
I saw them in late Jan.

Wow. "Go for the bigger idea", "Better Managers Early", "Look for reasons to invest, don't use due diligence to find reasons not to invest"
Thanks for you shows. I listen to them all.
Have a great vacation with your son.

I really admire your enthusiasm and drive for what you're doing. Good for you! If I was in Southern CA, I'd want to be connected somehow to what you're overseeing. I can feel the energy from 3,000 miles away.

Amazing guy and a trustworthy individual is what I get from the interview. This interview is the reason I'm going to pitch my business plan(s) to his firm that i've been working on for the past 3 years because I feel the things they bring to the table in terms of mentoring and access to executive recruiting are as good as any VC firm out there.
