Angelsoft and ACA in Partnership
This morning Marianne Hudson, Executive Director of Angel Capital Association announced a partnership with New York City based Angelsoft. As "official deal flow and collaboration software partner" to ACA, each member angel group will continue to enjoy free use of the software.
As part of the new relationship, ACA proposes the "creation of a Users Group to work with Angelsoft to standardize and improve the platform's features, processes, and protocols". Those ACA members wishing to participate in the new user group are invited to apply.

Comments
Needless to say, we at Angelsoft are delighted about the announcement of this partnership, which truly is a long-term, strategic one for both organizations and has been quite a while in the making. As of the ACA Leadership Conference in Dallas this past week, we have already begun working with the initial members of the ACA Angelsoft Users Group to plan for some of the powerful new features that will be released in 2010, both for investors and for entrepreneurs.
The ACA partnership follows ones that Angelsoft has already entered into with the National Angel Capital Organization of Canada, and the National Association of Seed and Venture Funds in the US. It ensures that for the first time, virtually every angel organization and seed fund in North America is able to share a common platform for collaboration and deal processing, which all of us hope will go a long way to facilitating and encouraging inter-group (and even international) collaboration on early stage investments.
